Alter, quienes habrían resistido a su detención y murieron en ese hecho. Acompaña una nota manuscrita con fecha posterior en la que se menciona la búsqueda de testimonios de desertores de las fuerzas uruguayas para verificar si nombran a Gerardo M. Alter.
